Ok, so you’ve unpacked your red light wellbeing device. Since this device is portable it can take it anywhere with you. It has an integrated timer so you can choose the duration of your session and switch off, a perfect time to relax or meditate. Make sure you are near to a power supply.

Your Red Light Wellbeing Portable Rejuvenator works by emitting red and near infrared light within a certain range of therapeutic wavelengths and intensity. These treatments penetrate your body to generate a number of health benefits.

Well that’s up to you! The beauty of this device is that you can take it with you on your travels so why not have it next to you in the office or use it in your hotel room. You can shine it on a particular body part or have it next to you to balance the blue office light. If your undisturbed you can close your eyes and imagine your standing on a deserted beach, your imagination provides the doorway to be wherever you wish. You can bask in the red light and enjoy meditation time.
The closer you are to the device, the higher the intensity of the light. This means the more energy you are receiving in terms of light photons reaching your skin. You firstly need to consider the specific benefit you would like to focus on. With The Target Bulb you firstly need to decide which area you would like to focus on.
For rejuvenating your skin we recommend being at a distance between 40-60cm from the device. At 60cm the intensity of the light is 20mW/cm2. It is generally recommended 20-30mW/cm2 being optimal for most benefits. In order to achieve 6 Joules of energy at that intensity, you would need to have a treatment time of 6 minutes. Over time you can build your treatment time up to 10 minutes but in your first few uses your skin can get a little flushed skin so it is best to build up your treatment times gradually.
For deeper tissue benefits, you can get a little closer to the device and it is generally recommended that you position yourself 10-20cm from the device for a treatment time of 5-10 minutess. This allows the lights to penetrate deeper and reach some of your muscles and organs. Remember, the closer you are to the light, the higher the intensity and you will need less time in front of the light to achieve the required amount of energy from it.
